Wow! We have had an adventureous April so far, and the month is not over yet!! At the end of March, we celebrated a special Good Friday service with a Covenant Signing meeting with New City Church! We will be working with eight other families in a Core Group to help plant a new church here in Louisville! We are very excited about this new outreach opportunity, and we appreciate your prayers and support during this time. We will be holding our first public service at the end of this month!
On Saturday, March 30th, we celebrated Cooper's 9th Birthday with Lazer Tag! The party was a big hit with all of his buddies!

You can check out more pictures in the photo album on the left hand side of the blog. On Saturday night, we enjoyed a fabulous Easter dinner with Lori, Clay, Lila, friends Michele and Doug! And, yes, there were birthday songs and an Easter egg hunt!
After celebrating Easter morning with friends at church, we loaded the van and headed North to Chicago for Spring Break! We met up with the Stock family to enjoy some of the sites of Chicago! We kept a very busy schedule and enjoyed the Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Science and Industry, and Navy Pier!! Our favorite venue was the Museum of Science and Industry...it was AWESOME! Don't forget to take a peek in the photo album for more pictures!

We returned to Louisville in time to watch the NCAA Final Four action with the UofL Men's team! The city is still celebrating the 2013 Men's National Championship and Women's Runner-Up Performances!! GO CARDS!
This weekend, the boys went on a scavenger hunt in the basement, and discovered something new!

That's right...your eyes are not playing tricks on you! The boys got a boat for their birthdays to go fishing this summer!! They were SUPER excited! They have already started planning their first fishing trip with the boat! Collin even found his favorite seat on the boat!

We will be wrapping up the month of April celebrating Collin's 6th Birthday - Spidey Style!! Check back soon for more pictures :-)
We pray that each and every one has a safe week. Please join us as we continue to pray for those families, friends, and first responders that have been directly impacted by the devastation in Boston and Texas this week.
