I can hardly believe that July is already over! We have definitely had a fun-filled summer so far! And, the boys still have three weeks left!
In mid-July, we led the Highview Family Mission Trip to Indianapolis! We partnered with two other churches to support Soma Church. The Neighborhood Block Party was a huge success! You can catch Andy's updates at www.highviewmissions.com. On Friday, we served at the Shepherd Community Center preparing lunches and assembling mailers.
On Saturday, we headed to the Neighborhood Park at 9:00 a.m. to begin the set up. There were small and large bouncies, festival games, face painting, sprinklers, popcorn, sno cones, and COTTON CANDY! Yes, that is Collin enjoying Cotton Candy at 10:30 in the morning!
We ended the weekend at the Indianapolis Children's Museum. They had a Lego Traveler's Exhibit and a Hot Wheels Exhibit, not to mention their permanent Dinosaur exhibit. We had to drag the boys out at closing time!! You can check out the photos in the Cooper and Collin album.
The boys attended a new camp today at the Louisville Center Center...Cooper made a comet and is learning all about space this week. Collin's class is "Messy Science" and apparently created an "explosion" today!!
The countdown to Kindgarten has officially started! All school supplies and school uniforms have been purchased, organized, and labeled!
